Ti Yo Eddy: Titanium, in a way only Fat Chance Bicycles can do.
During the pandemic we collaborated with Chris Chance/Fat Chance and ordered this incredible titanium Yo Eddy frame. Size large. This is the only one outside of a custom order from Chris currently in the world. We set it in our rafters and have shifted to leather goods and this baby is up for sale after relaxing and getting ready to be ridden for the past 4 years. We installed a White Industries crank for the lucky buyer. Same price as Chris/Fat Chance right now for the frame, please don't ask for a lower price, but you do get it right away and we won't take off that crankset.
The Ti Yo Eddy is designed for ultralight telepathic handling, have a thought of where you want the bike to go and it just happens! The Ti Yo was designed and developed by the mad scientist himself using a super exotic 6/4 & 3/2.5 Titanium, in a way only Fat Chance Bicycles can do. This is the latest version of the legendary Yo Eddy frame, first designed in 1989 and re-launched in 2015. You’ll love the signature handling, playful frame geometry and styling, and all the classic characteristics the Yo Eddy is known for. This is an ultralight trail bike that rails natural single track, climbs fast, and has amazing balance at any speed.
This latest version can accommodate 27+ x 2.8”, or 29 tires. With a set of high volume tires, the bike soaks up rough terrain and hooks up in the loam.
The frame’s main triangles use Chris Chance custom, externally butted titanium tubing, and blind (sealed) bosses. We also choose to spec full length, external cable routing for low and easy maintenance. Lastly, our proprietary Fat Chance dropouts, brake mounts and drive side demi-yoke, mated to non-tapered stays (same as it ever was) make for the sweetest trail hardtail you’ll ever ride. It’s all in the details. Actually, it’s all in the ride!
We installed black M30 White Industry Cranks (172,5) on the amazing titanium Fat Chance Frame. It is a package deal now.
